LED Backlit TV's will Dominate in the Future

1. LCD TV's are beginning to switch from CCFL backlighting to LED backlighting in order to eliminate mercury in their TV's set. This enables the TV manufacturers to claim that they are going "Green". 2. In 2009 approximately 2M sets will be made with LED backlighting. This could increase to 60M -75M sets made with LED's by the year 2013.
