A different way of addressing constipation

Most treatment methods rely on bulk agents or osmotically active compounds to increase the amount of water, and thus the softness of the stools, along, possibly, with stimulant laxatives to enhance intestinal movement. Primary attempts to increase intestinal motility, thus reducing spontaneous water absorption, might prevent the problem in the first place.

Many patients who suffer from constipation use many remedies without success. These patients are hard to treat. This may a good addition to therapy, but only some head-tohead syudies will give us an answer.
