Ryanair may have not have placed an order for as many as 200 airplanes, but this is more of an indication that the airline is concerned about revenue growth than it is about capacity growth.

With Boeings recent maiden air flight of their Dreamliner they may have turned the bend in a long hard course in producing their composite aircraft. The long term impact on Boeings stock remains an open question. Overall decline in the airfare sales worldwide as result of economic weakness make for tough times in the aircraft industry. .
Did Boeing Say No or Did Michael Walk Away?

Ryanair announced it has ended discussions with Boeing on an order of 200 new 737-800s that it wanted at bargain prices. Was this a mutual decision of two long term partners? Did one player just balk at what the other was offering/demanding? Was there a good reason for both of them to walk away from a deal? This analysis will assess the possible outcomes and why Michael O'Leary made the decision. In the end was it the clock that ran out?

Ryan has canceled current orders from Boeing for 200 new aircraft , they currently have a modern fleet of 737's , in the past they have overbought counting on values going up so the could flip slots and profit .
