Most of us have seen this over and again, the person or company with the most resources wins. In America, things are not created equal and access to capital and talent is becoming a major problem for the average person. This is creating a class or status of "have versus have not" and it's getting ugly in several cities and communities. If you have capital and resources NOW is the time to buy in almost every market. The West and Southeast Regions offer the best of both worlds i.e. demand and value. Those factors create an exit plan, which lead to more opportunity and market share. In the coastal areas of Florida, for those who can afford insurance and obtain conventional financing, there are increasing numbers of "buys" For now, real residential property is being offered at lowered prices. And, that's one good reason to buy in a declining market. This is an especially good time if the selection of property is for personal reasons, such as "I love that kitchen, floorplan, back yard, etc.". The other, companion reason, is the lowered volume of competition. While many people are hesitant, those with resources are actively looking at and acquiring premium properties. It is very much the case in selected Central Florida communitites. In Ocala, in a premium neighborhood such as Marion Oaks Unit 10, really affordable home sites,are  ready for custom architecture if the buyer wants to enjoy a one of a kind design, with mature trees, among the rolling hills, with elbow room, and free access to the bordering state owned forest.
