Fortis Healthcare is growing and making a bid to catch and perhaps surpass Apollo Healthcare in India. The addition of 10 new hospitals and 1902 beds brings Fortis to almost 70% of Apollo's size in 10 years of business, less than half of Apollo's 26 years of business. It also expands them further into the fabric of the healthcare community throughout India.
