Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz recently noted that he the was "cautiously optimistic" regarding upcoming Holiday period sales, noting the recent "sequential improvement" in "Same Store Sales" in Starbucks North American Operations. This indicator has improved over the course of the last 3 quarters from a level of <10%> for Q1-09, to <6%> for Q3-09.
