China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) has published case statistics and some case decisions, which shed light on how the merger regulator conducts its antitrust review. There are conceptual and analytical issues that need to be noted in evaluating antitrust risks and devising legal strategies in merger deals involving China.
