Working through the logical investment reasons for building a high speed broadband network it becomes a no brainer to build fiber to the home where you have densities  approaching 100 homes per sq mile even if you are just looking at the infrastructure side of the deployment. When you are talking about someone doing it for you, then you get a gold rush.
