Contacts can successfully be worn with pediatric patinets as early as 10 years of age.  With that being said, patient selection is crucial.  You may encounter 10 year old patients that are as responsible as 7 year olds and vice versa.

Biovitrum may have discovered a new adjunct to our existing prostaglandin analogs.  Currently, the prostaglandins generally lower patients pressures by 30-40% therefore making them first line therapy.  If this new 5-HT2A drug can lower pressure an additional 10%, this drug would find a home in the glaucoma world.
