Sycamore was my customer at EMCORE Corp and the need for optical switches of Sycamore has been dying lately. I got the news that Cisco also disqualified Sycamore Networks in one of their latest quals of optical switches used in routers. That is a big blow and no doubt their $ revenues will be impacted, with Cisco being a 800 pound gorrilla as their customer. No doubts, lay offs are bound to happen.
