The affordable housing in India is maybe the largest globally. Government projects, HUDCO, or private sector, OMAXE, failed to deliver the promise for affordable mass housing. Great opportunity for builders offers from $3 to 7.000 dollars. A major social issue. Indian market for affordable housing demand will remain high and a great opportunity will prevail. Banks financing is becoming available, but not enough.

We will refer to turnaround processes, in what it relates to the value chain management.  In order to reach high growth rates, HDS business need to invest in product push and product pool, we mean, in the Representatives interest in buying the products and, on a coordinated fashion to attract consumers to buy from the channel. In order to free up the resources necessary to finance the consumer and representatives investments, requires a much disciplined behavior from all elements in the value chain. Even though the right decisions in investments are made, if the rest of the value chain elements perform below expectations, you end up with reduced margins, meanwhile attractive top line growth. In order to deliver sustainable and profitable top line growth, companies need synchronization of strategic execution: investment decisions have to be well resourced by savings in costs and expenses.
