The tipping point is finally nearing because there was a need for a technology build-out when Check 21 was first passed. I worked for an ISV that sold Middleware that enables Check 21 functionality and it took time to put it in place and ensure its' robustness. Going forward, it will be easier to do the types of things discussed in this article, as well provide conectivity to other networks. This will hasten the adoption.
