Headlines are a commodity – it’s about who can get it first. Analysis is about credibility. And they’re both very valuable to me, but in different ways. If done right, I'm willing to pay for both. If not done right, I'm willing to pay for neither. Most newspapers haven't yet figured out what makes them special in this new world and therefore, why bother paying for them?
