Per market response, sentiments regarding the Monster/ Hotjobs deal are fairly balanced and there is a general lack of interest. Further analysis shows this is attributed to the online recruitment communities current focus on social media.  Although social media is critical, there are tangible results of the Monster/ HotJobs deal that do alter the online recruitment market and may affect how the market evolves in relation to social media recruitment.
