Although a perfect vision is pursued by every ophthalmic surgeon, it is very important to be sufficiently modest to admit that, in most cases, that goal os not achievable. Cornea incison, posterior capsule debris or opacification, macular degeneration, error on intraocular lens power calculation, here are some of the potencial causes of insatisfaction if perfect vision is offered to patients before surgery. Lens refilling is an intelligent and original approach to accomodation loss after cataract surgery but there are still a lot of answered questions that will make patient selection a crucial issue when considering the use of this kind  of lenses  .
