After some recession led set backs over the past two-three years, look for expansion in global TV shopping.  TV-related shopping produce a record $200 billion USD in the U.S.A. in 2010 and another $50b world wide. It is actually difficult now to avoid seeing the same infomercials whether one is up late at night in Vietnam or Columbia. In China the TVHS industry net of over $3.4b USD (2009) with expected projections of quadruple revenues by 2015.

Apple should be doing much better v.s. Google but as long as Apple continues its self serving policy or strategy to support proprietary applications, they Apple never take a sizeable portion of this market.  Consumers are as water flowing to whatever the path or least resistance offers.  Apple creates many obstacles.  Possibly it is too design led and snobby to play on the same field?

At first glance, eBook devices seem like an elegant and cost effective way to read and especially portable for when one reads on the move.A new chip which will harbor cheaper and better devices brings up a few ?Will price or function drive this product to mass uptake?Can the global market to sustain this technology and can it become sustainable?  A new way to read but is this really a new function? Does it have to have mass up[take to succeed?Are there other ways to improve this experience?
