The effect on reduces LDL cholesterol is more important so that reduce the risk of atherosclerosis. The effect on C-reactive protein is maybe one of the explication. Maybe other effect unknown. The adverse effect are not important. The impact must be important. We must prescribe more atorvastatine and less simvastatine.
