Walmart hardly seems best suited to offer physicians what they need to make EMRs work.

Analysis of:Wal-Mart Plans to Market Digital Health Records System | www.nytimes.com

This is one of the more laughable news items i have encountered recently. even if walmart will have high quality EMR systems, who would provide the service and support? in my experience now with 2 different EMRs over the past 9 years of practice the EMR is only as good as the set-up and support that goes into it.
