- The LED industry has entered a period of accelerated growth driven by faster and broader adoption of the technology for large LCD TV.- Growth will be sustainable as LED are becoming a credible options for commercial, industrial, municipal and residential lighting applications. Affordable LED light bulb replacement will start appearing in retail stores in 2010.- The main challenge of the industry will be to prove itself to the consumers in term of reliability and color consistency.
