After years of competing solely on the quality of its network Verizon has finally awakened to the fact that consumers are starting to perceive that network quality between the major carriers is at or near parity. Today's high value consumers now care more about their carrier's device lineup than its number of dropped calls. This is yet another demonstration of the significant impact Apple's iPhone has had on the US wireless industry.
