The financial times has identified correctly that China can stick to a plan and successfully engage in new markets, but so can most other developed countries of the world.  Strategic sourcing, which includes evaluating data privacy, security and integrity-related risks on top of the business process being outsourced, leans towards choosing Indian-based companies over China-based companies because of years of due-care and standards for  integrating business systems with companies in that geo-political climate.  The geography of the outsourcer plays a huge role in both client acquisition, customer satisfaction, and piece of mind.  It's not only the bottomline cost.
