Motorola Picks a New Kind of Leader | www.wirelessweek.com
Dave Dorman has extensive experience in Telecom Industry starting at Sprint, Pac Bell, Point cast, Concert, AT&T and now at Motorolla. His Track record is mixed. Many of his ventures ( concert, point cast) failed. The value of AT&T continued to diminish under his leadership, even though some of his supporters may claim that the decline was started as a result of actions taken by Armstrong and he contained it and achieved successful merger with SBC. However many employees including some executives at old AT&T claim that he was responsible heavy ob losses at AT&T and caused to a lot of heart-burn to many people. I would argue that on balance (if you consider the stock holders, customers and employees together) his record will be seen as a "D" at best.
