Trends are showing up signalling a change in FDA posture regarding RX drugs going OTC. If this trend keeps going, the 1.3 trillion predicted for drug sales might be a tad higher. Our FDA is starting to resemble European standards as far as looking the other way.

The annoying life style symptoms that accompany this drug, Humira, may only be tolerated if the disease is totally debilitating the patient.

The persistent cough and flu like symptoms I see my arthritis patients exhibiting, are tough to live with.

Helps Eczema, does little for Psoriasis

Stiefel Laboratories Receives FDA Approval of Olux-E (Clobetasol Propionate) Foam, 0.05% for Treatment of Psoriasis and Eczema | pharmalive.com

As a Compounding Pharmacist, I used Clobetasol Propionate alone, and in combination with other ingredients. It controlled the patient's eczema, but when it came to psoriasis, it did very little. In my 45 years as a Pharmacist, I have yet to have good results treating psoriasis, a condition that goes back to the beginning of time.
