This is partly or totally looked at a New Model for Healthcare in the US???

June 8, 2009

IBM Outlines New Model for Healthcare | www-03.ibm.com

Basically it becomes clear that IBM pledges for need to build out the IT infrastructure. The described Medical Home Care is only "one minor new brick" - (not enough practically investigated or tested). The US health care system is the most expensive in the world - one way or the other!! One "brick" cannot help the system very much, despite it sounds optimistic, while still lacking the concept of the total reform "of today's unsustainable health care system".  Not having a health care system which meets the needs of the 21st century and needs of the population concerned it will  lead to political problems one way or the other, especially in the US. Knowing Germany's and the European systems - they have been much more effective (in the past) than others overseas... Still they also need more than an economical orientation these days, because the "worl of money" has changed. they do need more than "a few new bricks"!
