Aging New Frontier to become Montreau on the strip | casinocitytimes.com
This new hotel and casino will add very valuable new look to an extremely valuable piece of strip land. This property is directly across the street from the Wynn and just down the street from Boyd Groups new billion dollar plus project on the Stardust site. The site will also be enhanced by the building of Trump's New Tower on the rear end of the existing land. The impact will greatly affect how other land will be used in immediate vicinity. It will certainly make north strip land more important and have a decided affect on the future of the Riviera and Sahara.

Hard Rock Hotel sold for $700 million | www.kvbc.com
The Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel has sold for $770 million. It could favorably impact the condo market and the investment banking community should reap the benefits. Creative financing will continue to build the Las vegas market and keep it on track for years to come. Investors are concerned with the prospect of over building. That question always arises, but the answer is always the same- It's just not going to end for a long time to come. Keep in mind the plans that MGM and The Boyd Group are developing. It's not millions, it's billions of investment dollars. These are well planned and financed companies that are looking to future growth. The trend is continuing and it will make all concerned very, very happy campers.
