Harrah's has made a move that may backfire on them. They have picked up options on the strip property where the Westward Ho was located. They are looking to exchange properties with Boyd who owns the Barbary Coast. This could be a better situation for The Boyd Gaming Group than for Harrah's. It remains to be seen if this deal can be made. There could be strong implications in the offing for both companies regarding this swap.
