Mr. Adeel Khan

Council Member Biography

Adeel Khan is Chief Executive Officer of Potentia. He started his career with Asia's largest software house for the telecom sector. He managed various projects for Time Warner and MCI. In 1998 he joined Palo Alto based Integral Development Corporation, which raised $40 million for second round funding, to develop capital markets technology - now patented in the US. He was part of the team who launched the first capital market Business-to-Business portal. Through Potentia, Adeel consulted for J P Morgan Chase trade settlement division, London; Goldman Sachs’s wealth management team, London; Lehman Brothers’ European technology Infrastructure division, London. Adeel has been quoted on WSJ, Dow Jones and has appeared several times on BBC Middle East Business Report. Adeel has advised on transactions valued over USD 1.5bn over the last three years and has successfully raised debt over USD 200m.
