Council Member Biography

Akshat Chinai is the President of Maneko, a firm providing management consultancy and international business development services to the global petrochemicals and polymers industries. Mr. Chinai has over 25 years of experience in managing corporate planning, business analysis and business development activities at petrochemicals, polyolefins and thermoplastic films manufacturing companies. He has experience in providing management consulting services to petrochemical companies in the US, Canada, Brazil, Netherlands, Eastern Europe, India, and Korea. Mr. Chinai is also the founder of ThinkGlobal*PC, a petrochemical industry focused association of global experts that provides advisory services on complex projects that require a diversified skill-set. Prior, Mr. Chinai was the Director of Business Analysis and Development at Rexene Corporation (merged with Huntsman).
