Albert Greco is a Senior Researcher at The Institute for Publishing Research and Professor of Marketing at Fordham Univ.'s Business School. He prepared projections for "Publishers Weekly" (2009-10) and "Book Industry Trends" (2000-08). He authored-edited 12 books, including "The Essential JSP: Critical Insights into the World of Scholarly Publishing, Vol. 1 University Presses;" "The Essential JSP: Critical Insights into the World of Scholarly Publishing, Vol. 2 Scholarly Publishing in Emerging nations," “The Book Publishing Industry;" and 20 scholarly journal articles. He co-authored “The Culture and Commerce of Publishing in the 21st Century”, winner of the Alpha Sigma Nu award for best business book; and lectured at The World Bank, The Library of Congress, U.S. Department of Commerce, etc. He presented research papers at Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, University of Toronto; etc. He has been interviewed in The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Bloomberg, The Washington Post, Time, The Hollywood Reporter, The Los Angeles Times, PBS, NPR, etc. He specializes in: the book industry; and the scholarly and professional journal industries.
