Council Member Biography

Arthur Evans is President of Art Evans and Associates, an industrial equipment consulting group. He works with industrial distributors, manufacturers and users of rotating equipment. Prior to starting his own consulting firm Mr. Evans was Vice President of Industrial Sales at Southern Pump and Tank Company, a distributor of Petroleum handling and Industrial products that are involved in storing, pumping, mixing, controlling and metering liquids in a wide spectrum of industries. Prior to working with Southern he worked for Goulds Pumps, a major supplier of pumps, both Commercial and Industrial. Mr. Evans worked at Goulds for over 20 years in Sales, Marketing, International Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Project Management and Human Resource Development.
