Council Member Biography

Dr. Ashok Shrivastava is a Consultant at Gen Next Business Consultants, India where has worked since January 2009. In this role he provides consultancy to the industrial sector. He also works as a Chief Executive Officer at Indoasian Fusegear, India where he has worked since April 2006. Indoasian Fusegear is a manufacturer of electrical equipments and integrated manufacturer and OEM Supplier of compact fluorescent lamps & HID lamps. In this role, he has setup plants for compact fluorescent lamps and switchgears, switches and intelligence equipments. Previously, Dr. Shrivastava has worked as Technical Advisor at National Company for Glass Industries, Riyadh from August 1995 to March 2006. In this role, he was involved in managing the complete project identification, evaluation, feasibility study, and financing and techno-commercial activities. He also identified and conducted the techno-financial feasibility of 13 glass projects such as pharmaceutical containers, auto glass, foam glass, auto lens, PET bottles, sand mining, glass blocks etc. He has also worked as Senior Manager (Technical) at Continental Float Glass, India from January 1989 to July 1995. Dr. Shrivastava has more than 36 years of experience in industrial sector with expertise in field of glass, glass fiber, fast ion conductors, optical glass fiber, cement processing and has worked with organizations such as Pilikington UK, Guardians Industries, USA, St.Gobain, France, Zippe, Germany and Fujutsu & Furukawa Japan.
