Mr. Benjamin Prusky

Council Member Biography

Benjamin Prusky is the Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Merchants Corporation, a New York based privately-held payment processing firm, which he has led since 2004. Mr. Prusky is an expert on all subtleties of the credit card merchant-account industry. He is involved in re-selling all major POS products such as Verifone, Hypercom, Lipman-Nurit, Ingenico, and frequently works with customers using higher-end POS systems such as Micros, Aloha, Digital Dining and others. Mr. Prusky is experienced in payment processing industry serving various customers including restaurants, retail stores, non-profits, and auto dealerships. He has also worked as an Equity Analyst at Providence Capital, a New York based asset management firm. Prior to Providence Capital, Mr. Prusky was a Financial Analyst in the Investment Banking division at Bear, Stearns & Company.
