Mr. Bill Borkovitz

Council Member Biography

Bill Borkovitz has 25+ years of experience including executive and board of director positions in Mortgage Insurance and other debt based firms. As a former series 7 licensed executive at Fidelity Investments, he has a well rounded view of the debt and equity markets. That, combined with operating leadership roles provides him with a unique view into the current markets. Since 2008, he has been a Partner at Banyan Financial Partners, an alternative investment company specializing in Medical Debt Funds. He is also a Principal at Kaplan & Associates, a retained executive search firm serving the financial and growth companies. Previously, he was COO/Board Member of Financial Asset Management Systems, an Atlanta based receivables management company. Prior to that, Mr. Borkovitz was Executive Vice President, Risk Operations at Radian Guaranty, the 2nd largest mortgage insurer in the US.
