Dr. Brian Lester MD

Council Member Biography

Brian Lester, MD, is a Dermatologist in private practice in Massachusetts as Owner of Brookline Dermatology Associates, PC. His interests include clinical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, dermatopathology, and dermatologic pharmaceuticals. He has experience with clinical trials involving a variety of agents used in psoriasis (e.g. retinoids and biologics) and atopic dermatitis (e.g. elidel and protopic). Dr. Lester also has experience with a wide array of topical agents, including dovonex, topical steroids, and nonsteroidal agents, and regularly uses an array of antibiotics, as well as retinoids to treat acne. He has broad experience with interferon upregulators for the treatment of warts, actinic keratosis, and skin cancers, Botox, Restylane and other injectable fillers, as well as various lasers and intense pulsed light (IPL) machines. Dr. Lester's other areas of expertise include alopecia, nail disorders, sun damage, melanoma, phototherapy, sclerotherapy, photodynamic therapy, PDL therapy, vascular lasers, and LED therapy.
