Calvin Cohen, MD, MS, is Research Director at Community Research Initiative (CRI) of New England, a nonprofit organization he co-founded that focuses on HIV clinical research. He is also a member of the faculty of Harvard Medical School and Research Director at Harvard Vangaurd Medical Associates. Dr. Cohen has been involved in studies that led to the approval of over half of the current treatments for HIV infection and has done research on nearly all HIV antivirals as well as resistance testing. He lectures around the world on these topics and also consults for pharmaceutical companies involved in HIV therapeutics. Dr. Cohen has been a recipient of both the Outstanding Physicians Award, presented by Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, and the Robert H. Ebert Teaching Award, presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. He also received the 2005 Annual Recognition Award from the Hyacinth AIDS Foundation. (This is me - Update Profile)
