Carlos Mateo Paz-Soldan is a Partner at DTB Associates, LLP in Washington D.C. For the past 15 years, he has practiced law in Washington D.C. focusing on international trade, immigration policy, and Alaska Native and fisheries policy and legislation. Mr. Paz-Soldan has represented foreign embassies, municipalities, and trade associations before federal and state agencies, the White House, the U.S. Congress and international organizations. He pursued a bachelor's degree in international relations at Occidental College, Los Angeles, and the Universite de Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France. He subsequently attended the George Washington University law school from which he graduated in 1993. Mr. Paz-Soldan has participated as an international observer in elections in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Bosnia, and had written numerous editorials on U.S./Latin American relations for the Latin American Advisor.
