Mr. Charles Banks

Council Member Biography

Charles Banks is the President of R.L. Banks & Associates; a consulting firm providing railroad transportation economic, financial, engineering track structure, operations, capacity, traffic, cost, and equipment counsel. Mr. Banks has more than 28 years of experience in such matters. Previously, he worked in five different departments (Finance, Strategic Planning, Executive, Marketing, and Operations) of five different railroads and then was Chief of Public Purchases and Manager of Capital and Rehabilitation Expenditure Analysis at the United States Railway Administration. He holds a BA in Economics from Haverford College and an MBA from the Wharton School. (This is me - Update Profile)
