Council Member Biography

Christian Singer, MD, MPH is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Vienna Medical Center, Austria since November 1997. He is also the Founder & CEO of Hellmann & Moedlinger, a public health consulting firm in United Kingdom since 2003. Dr. Singer is the Director of the Program of Translational Medicine and Experimental Therapeutics and had expertise in treatment of breast cancer and of gynecological malignancies. His clinical research interests lie in the development and conducting of clinical trials mainly involving novel breast cancer treatment strategies. Dr. Singer has experience in cell and molecular biology with basic research interests centered round the use of proteomics and gene expression analysis ("DNA Chip Technology") and their use in predicting response to chemotherapy. He has published numerous articles in high-ranking journals and has received national and international awards for his work in breast cancer. (This is me - Update Profile)
