Cliff McElroy is the President of Datec, systems integrator and value added reseller located in Pacific Northwest. Datec provides data center solutions, LAN, WAN and VPN, application optimization, global availability, data center power, backup recovery, IT Cost Visibility, storage, security, compliance and wireless applications. Datec is experienced in selling solutions for Datadomain, Compellent, CommVault Premier Gold Partner, Juniper Select,Splunk, F5 Gold Partner, and EMC, Symantec, Mcafee, Red Hat , Silver Peak, Netscout and other boutique startup solutions. Previously, he was the Regional Sales Manager at Pacific Infosystems. He is also involved in business of contracting sales engineers for manufacturers. I will agree, that a collapse is overkill. But I see a softening of transactions and more projects help up at CFO level and because companies can't hire, and retain talent efficiently. This talent is the hold up of implementing new technologies, none the least is datacenter challenges around power.  Wan Opt product realization of layer 4 possible challenges, may change course of companies looking for wan opt done at layer 3 instead.
