Mr. Clinton Holley Jr.

Council Member Biography

Clinton Holley is the President of Marietta Minerals Processing, where he purchases silicon metal and re-sizes it to meet customer needs. Mr. Holley currently deals with silicon suppliers from all parts of the world in order to obtain silicon to meet customers' demands. He started the company after a 14 year career at Globe Metallurgical as V.P. of Marketing and R&D, where he performed many functions ranging sales of silicon to specialized customers to research and development functions relating to and including rapid solidification in order to lower production costs. Mr. Holley also worked on a project to convert metallurgical grade silicon to solar grade silicon. Prior to his 14 year tenure with Globe Metallurgical, Mr. Holley spent over 20 years with Foseco, Inc. with the Steel Mill division. Here, Mr. Holley served in several sales and marketing posititons, including Marketing Director, where he oversaw all products being sold to all the steel mills in the U.S.A.
