Mr. Daniel Murad

Council Member Biography

Dan Murad is President and Chief Executive Officer at The ChemQuest Group, Inc., an international strategic business management consulting firm specializing in paint, coating, resin, polymer, adhesive, and sealant industries. Prior, Mr. Murad was Industrial Coatings Director for Europe at Rohm & Haas Co. His entire career has been dedicated to the US and European coatings and adhesives industries. Mr. Murad has knowledge about polymer emulsions, coatings, and adhesives industries. He has 13 years of experience working at Unocal Polymers, where his career took him from technical service positions to Director of Marketing. Mr. Murad worked closely with Morgan Stanley. He holds a BS in Chemistry and an MBA. He was Founder and Chairman of High Barrier Coatings Committee. Mr. Murad is Founder and Advisory Board Director of The Adhesive and Sealant Council's (ASC) "Building the Industry Program." He is also a member of ASC, National Paint and Coatings Association (NPCA), Steel Structures Painting Council (SSPC), The Conference Board Inc., Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP), International Study of Business Markets, and the American and European Coatings Associations.
