Daniel Weiss, MD, FACC, is a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist with Florida Arrhythmia Consultants and the Founder and President of his own consultancy, Weiss Consulting Groups, which provides consultation services to the business world on medical topics and to medical drug and device startup companies. He is currently the Chief Medical Officer for Vicor Medical Technologies, specializing in Medical Devices and Supplies. Through Dr. Weiss’ work as a consultant he has worked as Chief Medical Officer of a startup biotech company, Chief Medical Advisor of an engineering and software consulting firm, and chief cardiology advisor to a pharmaceutical corporation. He has been an investigator on numerous studies, including AVID, MADIT II, SCD-HeFT, as well as several other NIH studies. Dr. Weiss also serves as a consultant to several implantable cardiac device companies, including Medtronic, St Jude, and Guidant. (This is me - Update Profile)
