Council Member Biography

David Croslin is President of Innovate the Future, a consultancy specializing in the evaluation of market trends, defining corporate directions and building product and market innovations. Croslin works extensively with a broad range of technologies, markets and companies including Cisco, HP, IBM, Oracle, Xerox, Dell, Unisys, Alcatel-Lucent, Ciena, Broadcom, Huawei, Ericsson, Verizon, ATT and many others. His book, "Innovate the Future", has recently been published by Prentice Hall and praised as a seminal work on innovation by senior executives at ATT and other Fortune 500 companies. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of LinoWave. Previously, Mr. Croslin was the Chief Technologist at HP and Chief Product Architect of Verizon. He was a member of the mergers & acquisitions committees at both HP and Verizon and reviewed over two thousand companies. Mr. Croslin is a frequent advisor to technology firms, venture capital firms and fund managers. Mr. Croslin is consultant to IQware Solutions, and Board of Advisors at iElixir since January 2011 and at LiveComplete since January 2010 and a Board of Directors at GameCaster since May 2010. We may never know the full details of the problems really were in the iPhone 3G that caused problems with MMS. ATT is 'happy' with the new update. Consumers still have many problems and now lawsuits are flying. The issue goes much deeper than the iPhone or a particular software load. AT&T's network, along with its competitor's networks, are not ready for the new services paradigm. Even the vaunted LTE/4G network evolution will not eliminate the causes.
