David Wu is the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at ForteMedia, a company manufacturing DSP-based voice processor ICs. Mr. Wu is experienced in EMS players in the Far East. He has over 10 years of experience as a corporate management consultant for Legend Group of China, BenQ of Taiwan and First International Computer/VIA Technologies. Mr. Wu has authored 5 patents on microelectronics. Previously, he was a Corporate Advisor at OmniVision Technologies, Inc., a CMOS image sensor provider; Chief Executive Officer at OC-network, an optical broadband communications equipment company; Chief Technology Officer at Globalgate, a B-to-B enterprise software developer; Managing Director of WI Harper, a San Francisco based high tech venture capital management firm; and the Vice President- Marketing of Omega Micro, a fabless IC start-up specialized in I/O solutions for mobile computing and communications applications.
