Deborah Outlaw is the Principal of The Outlaw Group in Washington, DC, where she provides legislative and regulatory consulting services to physician specialty groups, allied health providers, medical device manufacturers, and non-profit organizations interested in medical research. With over 25 years of experience in developing health care public policy, she has focused on federal programmatic policy issues and trends in Health IT; Medicare/Medicaid coverage, coding, and reimbursement; prescription drug policies under federal programs; medical research for hearing loss and tinnitus; diabetes issues; and policies related to implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as well as ongoing congressional activities on health reform. She served in two Presidential Administrations and for a U.S. Senator. She was Director of Congressional Affairs in the Legislative office at CMS, Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, and an Attorney in the Executive Office of the President. (This is me - Update Profile)
