Dr. Debra Vallner PhD

Council Member Biography

Debra Vallner, PhD, is a Consultant in Regulatory Program Management at Ground Zero Pharmaceuticals in Irvine, CA. Dr. Vallner has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She most recently was VP of Product Development at InteKrin Therapeutics, with overall responsibility for Regulatory Affairs, Project Management, Clinical, and Pharmaceutical Development. Prior to that she was with Exelixis as Vice President of Project Management, responsible for Development Project Management, Development Outsourcing and Medical Writing. She has a wealth of experience with both IND and NDA filings as well as as well as all Phases of Clinical Trials through post-marketing. She has led multiple global teams, both in early development to IND as well as late stage clinical development to commercialization focused in oncology, transplantation, inflammation, pain, diabetes, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease. Dr. Vallner has worked with many internal programs as well as in partnership with major pharmaceutical companies, and was most recently a member of the Joint Development Committee with Symphony Capital.
