Mr. Dick LeFave

Council Member Biography

Dick LeFave is the Founder of D&L Partners, an IT consulting firm & CTO of Network Solutions. He retired from Sprint/Nextel in 2008 after serving as the Chief Information Officer for over 9 years. He was responsible for the strategic deployment of IT resources throughout Sprint/Nextel to include synergy attainment, IT merger management of the two firms and transition to a single billing platform. Mr. LeFave has more than 30 years of experience in IT, including more than 20 years as CIO for The Boston Company, Thomas Cook Travel of American Express Company, Southern New England Telephone and Sprint/Nextel. Mr. LeFave is engaged in IT consulting assignments with major firms in the telecommunication and internet fields and is current in global outsourcing, ERP implementations, and IT virtualization/application rationalization. He is an accomplished author and educator in information technology at the university level to include his recent book on "Implementing Strategic Sourcing" by Van Haren Publishing.
