Mr. Dilip Shah

Council Member Biography

Dilip Shah is Chief Executive Officer of Vision Consulting Group, a strategic planning firm in India. Mr. Shah is an independent Director on the Board of Fresenius Kabi Oncology Limited and Anuh Pharma Limited. He has 44 years of varied experience in the pharmaceutical industry, besides representing Indian pharmaceutical industry at several international meetings and conferences. Mr. Shah has participated in several WTO workshops on TRIPS (trade-related aspects of IPR) and was Member of the official Indian Delegation to WTO Ministerial Conference at Cancun. He serves as Chair of the Management Committee of the International Generic Pharmaceutical Alliance, Secretary-General of Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance, and Co-chair of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Committee on Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Shah also holds advisory positions as Member of Medicines Transparency Alliance (MeTA) International Advisory Group (IAG), the UK Department for International Development (DFID); Member of the Board of Governors of the Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur, a WHO Collaborative Centre for District Health System based on Primary Healthcare; Member of the Board of Advisors of Pharmabiz.com (Weekly); Editor Asia & India, Journal of Generic Medicines, UK; & Member of the Advisory Board of Access to Medicine Index.
