Mr. Don Gracey

Council Member Biography

Don Gracey is the President of The CG Group in Toronto, Canada. He has experience in healthcare professional regulation, regulatory and other requirements for foreign investment into Canada; privatization of government-owned enterprises or assets; politics at the national level and in Ontario and security and intelligence. He has considerable experience in senior positions in the Government of Canada beginning as an assistant to the Minister of Agriculture and as Assistant Secretary, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in Australia. He was also special advisor to the Chairman of the (Saskatchewan) Crown Management Board and President of the Crown Investments Corporation. He has undertaken projects in several countries for the World Bank and from 1988 to 2000 was the Executive Director of the Senate Special Committee on Terrorism and Public Safety/Security and Intelligence.
