Council Member Biography

Edward Swinderman is an independent contractor, currently working with PERIN Resources; a firm involved in the marketing of fuel ethanol, biodiesel, glycerin, and methanol. Previously, Mr. Swinderman was the Vice President of Sales at BioSelect Fuels, a firm producing and selling biodiesel. Prior, Mr. Swinderman was a Vice President at Vertical North America, responsible for fuel and industrial ethanol sales and Vice President of Fuels at Jim Jordan and Associates. He has authored weekly reports on gasoline and gasoline blend stocks focusing on MTBE and fuel ethanol. Mr. Swinderman has also presented papers on fuel ethanol demand, supply and economics, and biodiesel at OPIS conferences, the National Ethanol Conference, and the Biodiesel Coalition of Texas Conference.He has more than 39 years of experience in developing business in methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), alkylate, methanol, ethanol, biodiesel, hydrogen, and heavy fuels industries.
